Betterway Metal opened in 2011 in North Parramatta. The plan was simple: weigh it in front of the customer, name the grade before they accept, pay same day. Fifteen years later, that's still how we run the yard. Whether you've got a bag of copper offcuts or a trailer full of steel from a demo job, you deal with the same crew, on the same scales, with the same straight answer about what your load's worth.

We're a small business and we run it that way. When you drive into our yard, you deal with people who know their metals and care about getting you the right price. We weigh everything on scales right in front of you, we explain the grades, and we pay you the same day via bank transfer or PayID. No paperwork runarounds, no waiting days for payment. That's how we've always done it, and that's how we'll keep doing it.

Over the years we've expanded what we accept, from core non-ferrous metals like copper and brass to white goods, radiators, and motors. For larger loads we can arrange a pickup on request, at our discretion. Our goal hasn't changed: make recycling scrap metal easy, transparent, and worth your time.
